06.04.26 Main Water Line Break
We have had a contractor hit one of our main water lines on Old Laurel Lane. This will cause a water outage as we work to repair the damage.
05.28.26 ESCUD BOARD MEETING
ESCUD will have our monthly Board Meeting today at 5pm at the Sevierville Civic Center located in Sevierville at 200 Gary Wade Blvd.
05.28.26 JETTING THE SEWER LINES
We will be jetting the sewer lines from the wastewater treatment plant thru Alpine Drive and Lin Creek. This is to clear out the manholes and sewer lines running to the wastewater treatment plant.
05.22.26 Leak has been addressed

We have a water leak this morning that will affect Basswood and others. Our techs are out in the field addressing the leak. Karen Spence Office Manger
05.13.26 Water Leak
Our crew has been working on a water leak today and have found the pipe has split over top of a big rock in the ground. We will be shutting the water off temporarily to make the necessary repairs. We expect the water to be off 2-3 hours, may be less may be more. You may experience brown water from the repair, we will flush as soon as we can to clear up the water. Karen Spence Office Manager

We have a water leak on Dogwood. This will require our crew to dig up the road. PLEASE take care when in the area and watch out for our crew. Karen Spence Office Manager
05.06.26 Brown Water
Yesterday we had a major water leak on one of our main lines. Our crew was out late making the repairs, as a result you may experience brown water and low water pressure. Once the tank has recovered from the leak and we make sure everyone is back in water the crew will flush the lines. Karen Spence Office Manager

05.05.26: We have a water leak on our main line on English Mountain. We have found the source and repairs are underway. You will experience no water and low water pressure until the leak is repaired and water in tank is replaced. Karen Spence Office Manger
Monthly Board Meetings
Monthly board meetings will be every 4th Thursday at 5pm at the Sevierville Civic Center at 130 Gary Wade Blvd. Please check website or call the office if inclement weather. Meetings will not be held on holidays that fall on that Thursday.
SERIOUS FLUSHING TODAY
Techs just informed me they will be doing some heavy flushing on Well D Footprint. This will cause your water to get really brown/black before it clears up as they flush out the lines. We would advise NOT doing laundry today until your water runs clear.
April Board Meeting
April Board Meeting will be Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 5pm at the Sevierville Civic Center at 130 Gary Wade Blvd. All meetings will be on the 4th Thursday of each month at 5pm at the Sevierville Civic Center We had to change days because of scheduling conflicts with Commissioners, Attorneys and the Civic Center schedule. Meeting dates will posted on website each month and minutes will be uploaded to website as soon as available.

The business office of East Sevier County Utility District will be open for business by phone or email Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm. The business office will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and all major/government holidays. All lot inquires for water and sewer need to be emailed along with a detailed map showing lot and road to [email protected] If you need to speak to someone in the business office please email [email protected] with date/time and reason to schedule an appointment. To make your monthly payment you may use the link on this website under Pay Online, Call 866.905.1016 to pay by phone, mail your payment to: East Sevier County Utility District, PO BOX 185, Benton, KY 42025. You can also pay by credit card by calling the business office. Payments can now be dropped off at the drop box at the former office at 1529 Alpine Dr. We do not guarantee any payments dropped in the drop box nor that payments will reach the payment center before due date, this is due to the history of vandalism of the payment box. We suggest if you drop a payment in the drop box to call or email the business office so we can retrieve the payment.
Delinquent Accounts Notice
ESCUD will start turning water service off to accounts that are 30 days or more past due. Notices will be placed on your door starting Monday, March 23rd. Payments are due on the 15th of each month and can be made online using a credit/debit card (fees apply) at https://eastsevier.com If you do not know your account number you may call the business office at 865.446.2075 Payments are to be mailed to: East Sevier County Utility District PO BOX 185 Benton, KY 42025 If you receive a notice of disconnect and plan to mail in your payment please call the business office so we know to hold off on turning your service off. Returned checks will be charged $25.00 You can pay by phone with a credit/debit card (fees apply) 866.905.1016 or during business hours 865.446.2075 You can set up automatic payments online using a debit/credit card (fees apply) or download the ACH form from our site and email to address on form for automatic payments from a checking/savings account (no fees). Reconnection fees: 1st disconnect $50.00 2nd disconnect $100.00 3rd or more disconnect $200.00 To qualify for a payment plan please contact the business office at 865.446.2075 or [email protected] If you are/were on a payment plan and missed 2 or more payments you cannot qualify for a payment plan. Payment plans are: 1. down payment 2. minimum payment on arrears $150.00 plus full amount due each month Example $150.00 + $107.67 Missing two or more payments will result in full amount due to avoid disconnection If you are having difficulty paying your monthly water/sewer bill please contact our office before you 2 or months in arrears.
ESCUD has a current hold on all Will Serves
As of 02.16.26 ESCUD is currently putting a temporary hold on all Will Serves until flow studies at our waste water (sewer plants) are completed. We expect this to take a minimum of 90 days. You are welcome to submit an application for sewer service to be reviewed after the studies. To submit an application please fill out the application form, include a copy of your plans clearly showing each bedroom. These can be submitted to: [email protected]
