1.) Engineers and the USDA are finalizing the paperwork for the new well onEnglish Mountain. As soon as they give us the approval the well diggingcompany will mobilize and begin drilling. 2) TAUD is negotiating with a wastewater utility company to assist in themanagement and operation of the District’s off site decentralized sewersystems. This will allow us to concentrate completely on EnglishMountain exclusively to address the many deficiencies that exist. 3) Volumetric billing has begun in The Preserve. New meters will beinstalled, beginning in The Preserve, when a meter reading system ischosen. 4) TAUD requested funds from the State of TN through the legislativeprocess with a negative result from the latest session. The EPA has toldthe district that federal funds are available to help us but they have notproduced any money as of today. We will continue to seek financial helpwhile moving forward with our current rate structure funds.
